Anotek was formed in 1982, in the same modern factory it works from today, situated in Ayrshire on the West Coast of Scotland.

“Anotek offers two manufacturing divisions. The self adhesive printed products division manufactures a range of finished products for the aerospace, computer, electronic, and electrical consumer goods industries, whilst the anodic processing division supplies an aluminium finishing service to the same industry sectors.”

Nameplates

“In today's plastic world, there are still requirements for metal nameplates where plastic is unsuitable. Examples of such applications are in the exclusion of static electricity, flammability and toxic fumes, and where extreme hazardous environmental conditions exist. Our anodised aluminium nameplates, with printed dyes absorbed and sealed within the oxide film, are able to withstand some of the above conditions. By selectively choosing either anodised aluminium, stainless steel, brass or bronze nameplates, most of the above limitations can be met.

Caledonian Airmotive

“The photograph shows a General Electric CFM-50 Jet Engine being rebuilt after servicing at Caledonian Airmotive, Prestwick Airport. The parts processed by Anotek are the fan disc platforms of which there are two sets per engine. These are processed to AMS and CAA specifications."
